Carnot Game Description
Carnot Game is an engaging game centered around the Carnot Cycle, where the participant must switch between three thermal sources (hot, insulator, and cold) to optimize the work performed on the piston of a cylinder. The objective is to maintain the piston functioning within the ideal Carnot cycle, executing transitions between sources at the appropriate moments to prevent the cylinder from exploding or freezing. The nearer the player is to the Carnot cycle, the greater their score and advancement.
The player needs to click the button to alternate between the thermal sources of the system, remembering to execute the transitions at the correct times to prevent the piston from jamming or the cylinder from exploding. The Carnot cycle comprises four thermodynamic processes.
